Found on high-end milling machines, machining centers, and five-axis systems from DMG, Hermle, Grob, and Mikron, the iTNC 530 is a workhorse. However, its complexity means error codes are inevitable.
If you see "Excessive position lag" on a rotary axis (A, B, C) after a crash, do not reset it. Manually rotate the axis backwards first. The harmonic drive gearbox may be physically jammed. Resetting will burn the motor.
